Cake is beautiful, let’s admit it... cake is a damn tasty thang and this delicious carrot and apple cake of mine is the ultimate taste-bomb experience. I would never eat the whole cake, but I would neither refuse myself a slice. Life in balance and food never feared.
A balanced diet is not a fad, yo-yo or crash diet. It is a way of ensuring you eat all of the required nutrients for your body to function properly... a balanced diet will also be a way of ensuring enjoyment and freedom into your diet… no labels, no worries.
Eating a balanced diet is the ultimate medicine in maintaining awesome health and keeping your body in optimum condition. A balanced diet does not cut out food groups, it consists of carbohydrates, protein, fat, veggies, fruit and CAKE!
You need to support your body and keep yourself energised, motivated and healthy both mentally and physically! It’s not good for your mental health to label any food as ‘good’ of ‘bad’. Nor it is good for yourself to deny yourself food that you have been brainwashed to believe is ‘bad’.
The only thing that can be ‘bad’ is an unbalanced diet. Listen to your body, listen to the land, be friends with food, be friends with yourself and grab a fucking plate.
