Although there are limited treatments, I want to emphasise that there is no "right" or "wrong" way of recovering. Every person that suffers from an eating disorder is individual and unique, which means different treatments will work for different people. Maybe something I found incredibly helpful, others may find them the total opposite of helpful, and perhaps someones upwards path of recovering will be one person's downwards slide. You must find out what works for you, even if it only works for you.
One of the best treatments for myself was dancing. I found dancing to be one of my greatest sources of therapy along sides help and support from my professional team, family and friends. In this sharpie, I am trying to portray the healing powers that dancing has given me personally.
